The College of Business Administration sets its goal to foster young leaders with the talent and creativity required by the business world under global management environments. In order to achieve such a goal, training and education are provided so that they have the required abilities to cope with globalization and informatization positively through a broad range of management theories and practical knowledge that can be applied to the actual field of business administration. A further target is to cultivate students with an infinite spirit of challenge, a creative spirit of adventure, a diligent and faithful attitude, and an international business etiquette.
Currently, the College of Business Administration has been supplying a great number of graduates who are well recognized in various areas of society due to the excellent teaching staff. Thus, this College acts as a cradle to foster and supply talented people to society by leading the academia of the 21st century, both at home and abroad.
The mission of a business enterprise is to provide people with new values by entrusting society with the use of physical, human, and intellectual resources dispersed throughout society. Business management is to enable systematically efficient relationships among production, financing, marketing, and personnel organizations so that the three axes of value, cost, and price can be balanced. The educational goal of the School of Business Administration is to develop professional businessmen and entrepreneurs with comprehensive thinking and analysis abilities, insight, prediction, sociability, and leadership required for performing business activities.
Accounting is an information system that provides useful information so that economic entities, including companies, can make rational decisions. All economic entities have limited resources and seek to obtain maximum benefits through efficient allocation of those resources. Accounting information supports efficient resource allocation, and accounting is an academic field that estimates and interprets such information in a scientific and systematic way.
In line with the rapidly changing accounting field these days, the School of Accounting and Taxation Affairs sets its goal to train accounting professionals with new theoretical and practical skills.
The School trains and educates the students to have a sense of balance through systematic education on the theory and business practice, major and cultural subjects, problem-solving ability, and analytical sense to cope with the changing management environments and carry a social sense of professional knowledge. The graduates of the School of Accounting and Taxation Affairs advance to various industrial fields such as certificed public accountants (CPAs), tax accountants, tax-related public officials, general corporations, financial institutions, and government-invested organizations.
The School of Management Information is a field that studies how the computer and communication technology using a computer can be used efficiently and effectively to manage business. Its goal is to foster “Agents of Management Information System (MIS)” by way of rendering the professional knowledge required for establishing a computer-oriented information system and its operations. Basic and applied education on business management, computer science, and information system is provided in addition to developing creative education on information system using the latest information technology, and the essential skills and abilities that MIS personnel in the field should have. The curriculum of the School is focused on coping with rapidly changing information technology and satisfying the demands of the field in a positive manner.
The Department of International Trade is focused on developing people capable of demonstrating global professional competence under the unlimited competition system with global business circles. In order to achieve such a target, the Department provides its students with diversified theoretical and practical grounds. Specifically, lectures in the fields of international economy and international business management are opened to enhance the sense of international economy, and lectures in the fields of contract,, payment, and arbitration for international trade are available in order to cultivate internal trade practical knowledge. In addition to the aforementioned classes, English and Japanese classes for international trade are provided to strengthen the ability required for being a global leader in this area, along with courses related to international logistics, which is currently attracting a great deal of interest. Furthermore, the Department offers courses related to electronic trade to cope with the trending proliferation of digital trade.
The Department provides studies on distribution, logistics, e-business, and big data grafted to a new type of convergence and fusion education program. In particular, systematic education on the big data that is essential for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era is provided to graduates so that they can have employment opportunities in the areas of distribution, logistics, e-business, and big data, both at home and abroad.
The graduates may find their occupations in the areas of big data analysis and consultation, machine learning and deep learning, big data related IT industries, public service related to distribution and logistics, and national and private research institutes.
