Gyeongnam’s national flagship university representing Korea
The School studies academic theory and reality of architecture and urban and civil engineering for the students to enhance their quality as a high grade engineer. The School was separated from the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology on March 1, 2014 to be the Graduate School of Land and Housing. Again as of March 1, 2021, its title was changed into the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Civil Engineering. The School adapts academic theories on architecture and urban and civil engineering areas elastically to cultivate talented people and promote research and development.
The School provides majors in architecture (architectural engineering), civil engineering, urban engineering, and regional balanced development. Every year ten chosen employees of the Corporation are trained and educated in the areas of urban engineering, development and planning, regional policy related to balanced development among the regions, and creating jobs in the local industries.
The Major fosters professionals of high grades across all the spectrums of the diversified fields of architectural engineering, especially housing by promoting amalgamated research. Furthermore, the Major promotes education and research, emphasizing actual practice based upon theoretical and academic grounds. In this regard, the teaching staff consists of those both from the Corporation and the Graduate School of this university.
