Gyeongsang National University (President Kwon Jinhoe) Center for Sustainable Development (Director Kim Youngcheol) operated a booth featuring a climate crisis quiz and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) hands-on activities for current students at the Gajwa Campus from October 6–8 during the 2026 Gaechuk Daedongje. The booth was planned and run directly by the Center’s GNU-SDGs/ESG Supporters.
The program consisted of answering quizzes on the climate crisis and the SDGs, and hands-on making of daisy and four-leaf clover keyrings and tea coasters using sock loops. Students who visited the booth solved quizzes and broadened their understanding of the climate crisis and the SDGs. They also directly experienced upcycling by learning ways to repurpose discarded resources.
The GNU-SDGs/ESG Supporters are carrying out various promotional and practical activities to spread the values of the SDGs and ESG. The Center for Sustainable Development plans to continue, through student-led activities, to spread a culture of sustainable development and ESG practice within the university.
